I'm John. I live in San Diego, I'm 19 and I'm very intrested in making it to the Holcomb Valley Battle. I've already met Smiley and talked about coming to the Holcomb Valley Battle. I don't have all my gear yet though...I have my unifom except the field jacket, helmet, field gear, or a gun..

John, not to worry we have the gear, the weapons and the transportation to take care of our guys. Let us know what you have or don't have. Post it here and also send an e-mail to Mayo. I know that a Helmet and Rifle are no problem for sure. Do you have boots, if not what size. All you need is an ammo belt, and we've got guys with extras of those. You really don't need a haversack for your first event. Also we've got guys with extra canteens as well.

Ok. You will not need class A's for this event.

You have:
-Garrison cap
-Boots
-leggings
-Pants
-Shirt
-mess kit w/ utensils

You need to borrow or procure:
M41 jacket ( I have an extra 44R that I think is going to be too big, but will do)
Cartridge belt with bandage, canteen &cup (Mayo can cover this)
Helmet (Mayo can cover this)
M1 Garand Rifle (Mayo can cover this)
Haversack (Mayo Can Cover this)

**We need to know your sizes ( numbers like 42R or Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large)**

You will need bedding (you have a sleeping bag)

Sounds like a 38R or 40R. AT the Front for $59.

Anyone have a 38R, 40R, 42R that he can borrow? If not, I have a 44R, but it's going to be big.

Are you talking about an M41 coat? I have a small one that is probably a 38-40. It's real though, not a repro but then I used to wear it all the time back in the day. He can borrow that one.
