I am not sure how it works pard. Are you guys planning on coming as 101 AB? If so, there is a 101 AB group you can probably fall in with. If you are planning on coming as regular Infantry, we can talk about it at the Camp Navaho battle. http://www.chgww2.com/ has a link with our bylaws on it. Look in there. I don't think it's a problem. If you cannot get the 101AB group from CHG to sponsor you guys, I will ask our leader Tim Kano if it would be possible for us to do so. He will also be coming to Navaho with us. 8)

I think he would fall into the catagory of a new member who can attend a 'first' battle for free. There are only certain reenactment groups that are recognized by the CHG who have a standing invitation to join us.

However, LMK what if any group you do belong to and I can check with the CHG board.

Opie

Tell us a little of how WWII Reenacting works in Arizona. Do you have a CHG type organization? how many clubs/units are there. When you have events who organizies everyone?

Like Tim said if you have some guys who are really a bunch of independant guys, your first event is "free as to CHG dues", and only cost you the Battle Fees, which for Camp Roberts would be about $40.00

We would just consider you new members of the 442nd/133rd as though you live in Los Angeles.

well again ill have to talk to the guys im only a lowly Corporal

as for Az Reenacting we dont have a CHG like enity because the units are so small we just kind email each other and find us a spot out in the sticks and get to it. but i have a fealling that this will change in about a year or 2.

Camp Navajo is a different animal compleatly as you well know it is through Chad's Museum and we try to have it 2 times a year and thats a pay event

as for units 501st, 30AU (Can. Commados) kings 5th, axis we have the 1st SS and a Kampfgroup

as for joining up i know that we have 2 guys that are apart of the 506th out there Gary Underhill being one so i think well link up with them
but if i ever fell like making the drive over myself would love to fall in with you guys
i so far have a late war Leg impresson

also and idea on the senario because i know that alot of the guys that are gona travle have a bunch of different impressons
