I'll venture a guess that someone is a graphic designer.

Those flyers are done by Mike Burns with the 12thSS. Yes he is truly a graphic artist. With the right tools, knowledge, time and access to ready to go graphics, i.e. the barb wire for example. I would like to do something like this for our December Battle.

Mike has a very nice attention to detail and layout, for example the German Armor is tinted a slightly different color than the Allied armor.

Thats awesome and just the right style and pizazz we need to make this marketable to people on the fence or to get people into the hobby. Awesome that this hobby is finally entering the 21st century.

Too bad I never get flyers or mailings from the CHG :(

In my opinion flyers are good for those who are not active on the internet.

Well it seems word of mouth gets around faster than the updates on the site, so flyers and word of mouth are always more up to date... Maybe they don't have my PO Box #?

Rich

I believe your problem is as you have noted, they don't have your mailing address. We have you listed and therefore the CHG as Mirmar Naval Air, San Diego, Ca

I just sent an invitation to the Japanese reenactors on this battle. They tend to take a long time to respond and it may be to soon for them to make plans to attend but if they do come we might expect anywhere from 6-10 of them to join us at Roberts. They know the area.

Langauge will be a problem, most of them don't speak english. They tend to act as their own unit when they come but will rent all the automatic weapons they can get.

Things are taking shape for the "West Coast Regional"; lots of thought and organization is going in. This battle will have clear guidlines and rules. Battlefees will be paid and people will have to carry proof-of-pay, in order to be let onto the battlefield. Also to deal with all the "dead players" they are planning of designated cementaries where players will have to go. This means we will need to cordinate ourselves to find and hook back up with our returning dead players/
