Here is a nice set of photos taken from the 2005 Airshow. You'll notice the German MG Nest, which will he used in the upcoming 2008 event. Also notice the grass vs. the moon dust.

The event in the past was held on a piece of dry dirt. It was gray, small grain, like moondust. Basically it look like dry cement and got into everything. Where the tactical battle was it was a little bit better, being your normal brown dirt.

I was doing some search-surfing in Photobucket, and look what I found

Wow! Usually I'm pretty invisible to camera's and rarely get my picture taken. That's pretty cool.

As far as the 'moondust' goes. Yea, the old site was horrible. But it was interesting that this year that old site was lush and green with grass and our new and 'improved' site was only marginally better than the old one. I bet they didn't want us tearing up the nice new lawn.
