I bought one of these (on sale) and they were a good deal in both price and quality. I highly recommend them. It's the early style with pleats in the back. These were later removed to save material. Also the pleats were originally in the design before the war as the concept was to wear the coat at all times including in combat (like the Germans did) so the pleats allowed free movement of the arms to aim a rifle. Unnecessary when the coat was issued as a dress item only. Only thing you need to do to them if you want is buy the brass hooks for $2 and mount those in the back to hold the leather service belt in place. But you don't need them nor do you have to have the service belt. Looks sharp if you do and guys would get the belts and wear them anyway because of that.
