Great... MAYBE YOU can stir up more interest... if you can get at least six guys.. that would put our numbers at around 22 troops... If you can & are willing to create a joint C.P... our unit can provide chow for all your troops for the whole weekend... (of course for about $6.00 each)... we have a mess NCO who takes care of these things.. (BRING A MESS KIT!) Also we will have our Divisional M.P. guarding the C.P. while we are away fighting the Krauts! Attached is a current 35th newsletter... the last page contains info about the last battles in the Tunisian Campaign....
email it to your guys... it might spark interest to motivate the guys to come out! LET me know about the chow thing by at least a week prior....
as always, at your service...
WALT

Walter T. Hanna, "C" Co.
134th Infantry Regiment, 35th ID
"Santa Fe, ALL THE WAY"

"War" Against war one can say: It makes the victor stupid, the vanquished malignant. In favor of war: Through both of these effects it barbarizes and thereby makes more natural; it is a sleep or winter for culture, and man emerges from it stronger; for good and evil.

Rich

It was part of an e-mail attachement. I was hoping it would come through, without the need to a login.

I was wondering I know we are falling in with these guys... but have I never seen them at a battle before?

It seems that there are two types of units . . .

. . .The Camp Roberts Units and the All Events Units. At this last Camp Roberts, Walt Hanna, their unit leader is the guy who was giving everyone rides to and from the battle front.

But Walt and another guy from his unit hooked up with us Marines at the last PTO battle. They also do Living History Events

And finally the 35thID is also a member of the RPS, and does events with them as well.

Walt's unit is the 35thID

Yeah yeah I got an email from Walt when I did my first mass emailing to get into the hobbie. I just remembering him mentioning Kelly's Heroes (since they portray the same division in the movie)... I may have seen them at my first roberts then...
