The 9SS Panzers (San Jose Unit) are putting this event on


1st Annual WW2 West Coast National Event.

Location: Foresthill CA.
Dates: May 16-18
Attendance: “Private event” Special invitation only


Arrival time: Friday May 16, no earlier than 0700 hours.
Departure time: Sunday May 16, after noon no later than 1600 hours.



Battle duration: Kick off Friday at 1600 hours. End of hostilities on Sunday at 1400 hours.

Admitting: There will be a registration tent set up for everyone to sign in and pay battle fees.

Cost: $20.00 per person.

Unit discount: $15.00 per person for a group of 10 or more. Vendors and period vehicle owners battle fees are waived.


Scenario: This will be a full tactical 24 hour scenario. Details will be released at the Pre-Battle briefing. Plan on Western German forest type of surroundings.

Impressions: This will be the very last days of the war type scenario. All Western Front late war impressions will be allowed.


German: Waffen-SS, Heer, Luftwaffe Fallschrimjaegar and or Ground units, Feldgendarmie.

American: Standard Infantry, vehicle crews, MP.

British: Standard Infantry, vehicle crews, MP.

Non-Combatants: Nurses/Doctors, Medics are welcome. They must stay in the pre-determined locations during the event. They must maintain a historically accurate role.

Partisans: NO Partisans will be allowed to take part in this event. Please do not show up as a Partisan. You WILL be turned away.

POW’s: POW’s may be taken when and if the opportunity is presented to the opposing force. All POW’s must be returned within a 15-20 minute time period. During captivity POW’s are to be treated with some kind of respect. You may safely simulate the intimating treatment of prisoners. Just do not hurt anyone, take, or damage their personal property.


Military Police: German and Allied MP’s/Feldgendarmie will patrol during the entire event. They will have access to all areas of the event. Their job will be to work in the roll they normally portray. All MP’s on both sides will be responsible for parking lot and safety patrols. They will also have say in escorting subjects away from the event that become unruly. Only the event coordinator will have final say over problem people being allowed to stay.

Authenticity: ALL common practice authenticity guidelines for most of the CA clubs will be in place and enforced. If you do not meet the guidelines and you can not change or fix it, you may be asked to leave. Attendees from out of state will be given an exception to this rule.


Uniforms/equipment: Must be of commonly accepted quality. NO low quality Chinese Waffen-SS camo.

Haircuts/facial hair: Proper hair cuts and facial hair MUST be in accordance with military tolerances of the time and per military regulations set forth within your represented Army.

GI’s, NO M.A.S.H. TV series hair cuts or mustaches. You will be asked to shave or be turned away.

Vehicles: Period vehicles for all armies represented are welcomed.

Weapons/ammo: Gary Harper will be providing weapons rentals and ammo sales for both Armies.

Vendors: What Price Glory & S.M. Wholesale will be attending for your spending pleasure.

Bivouac areas: There will be a main front line that separates both Armies. The majority of the fighting will take place in this general area. Both German and Allied forces will have pre-determined locations in which they will dig in, sleep and keep all their gear or belongings not needed in battle. Every unit MUST have a representative person left behind to monitor that unit’s property during day light operations.

Tents: If you have period type tents for you and or your unit, you are welcome to bring it and set it up in your designated locations. It may be cold at night.

FARB ISSUES: Attendees with FARB issues will be given chance to fix the problem. If refused, then you will be asked to leave the site. You will not be given a refund on your fee if paid. If you are from out of state, you will be given a pass for this event. We do ask that it is addressed if you attend the following year.

FARB EXAMPLE: ALL members of the opposite sex, MUST play their correct and historical role per your represented Army guidelines during the times portrayed at this event. No crossing roles. ALL roles MUST be historically correct. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please do not ask.

Non-period camp: There will be a pre-determined location for those that do not wish to sleep in fixed or combat locations. This will be out of site of the main event area for reasons of authenticity. Campers/RV’s are welcomed in this area only.

Parking will be provided for all private none-military vehicles. The parking locations will be patrolled by MP’s for the duration of the event.

All period vehicles may park in or around the battle field as needed. Military vehicles must be camouflaged and tactically parked while not in use.

Sleeping accommodations: Those that wish to sleep on the front line or in the combat scenario are welcome to do so. Once your unit has been sent to the location from which you will be assigned to control. It will be up to you to make yourself at home. This means you may dig in for the duration of the event.

Fires: The event coordinator will advise on fire conditions at the time of the event. You may have a fire, if it is safe for open fires in and around camp sites. Remember, that this is a 24 hour tactical scenario and that all light and noise discipline should be enforced.

Lines/rear area locations: There will be a “rear area” for both armies to set up some kind of HQ. This will also be the location of any medical personnel. Food will be issued from this area as well.

Provisions: Porta-potties will be provided.

Water: You MUST bring your own drinking water. If you are from out of state, we will provide you with water.

Food: You should bring enough food for yourself for two days in the field. Saturday evening, we will be cooking a large traditional German type meal for EVERYONE to enjoy. Food will be trucked in and prepared for both Armies behind their lines. It will be up to unit or area commanders to relieve front line troops for a hot meal on a rotation basis. This will add to the authenticity and realistic feeling, we are striving for all to experience.

Alcoholic beverages: We ask that you keep your alcohol consumption down to a realistic level. Do not leave your empty bottles and/or other trash behind for others to pick up. Drink responsibly. ALL laws pertaining alcohol WILL be enforced. Do not operate vehicles or handle weapons if you have been drinking. It will be up to your unit commanders to monitor alcohol consumption. Be responsible for your own actions. Those that are asked to leave for reasons of public drunkenness will be subject to law enforcement contact.

Rules: It is our request that ALL attendees please show up with the expectation of having fun. We only ask that you act in a manner that you would expect others to act, at one of your events. Please do not show up if you plan on acting inappropriate. You will be escorted off of the property.

No heavy alcohol consumption, illegal narcotic usage, inappropriate or disruptive behavior, fighting, destruction of property, arguing or calling of hits in the field during operations. Violation of these simple rules will result in your immediate dismissal from the event.
