Marching Thru History

Is anyone interested in this one? It looks like the Sendai might be going but if our unit goes then Jean and the jeep trailer can make it too. I will probably be using the jeep trailer anyway to carry more stuff.

I may just want to go for the day on Sat as a Marine to support the Japanese unit. We have 3 events in October and I don't want my wife to disown me, lol.   [smilie=a_chuckle.gif]

That's a good point. 3 events in October is enough. I would suggest then MTH is probably out.

Well, seems everyone is looking for those strays for their groups. I was going with Jerry Berry's MVOCC people, but realized that the LHA will be there and I haven't attended an event with them in ages despite being a member so I was going as 82nd AB.

Ron Lane called me and asked if I would bring the .50 cal and mount it in the half track for their public battle. If I'm not mistaken he said there will be a battle every hour? Seems pretty often. But still I am obligated after the Sendai debacle to do what I can for them so I had to agree.

So now I will be going as 442nd again. Probably not as a Lt., maybe will revert back to my dad's Sargeant rank. Not a lot of Lt's manned .50 cals. I will still bring Jean Francis and plan on parking her in the LHA camp to at least help them out some. Good thing is I ought to get time to wander around and still represent the 442nd.

I'll be there all day this Saturday.

I know it doesn't help the Sendai, but the 21st PZ will have an encampment in case anybody wanted to do German secondary impression or do your ETO GI thing for the battle. We'll be there starting tommorow. We'll be doing DAK and ETO impressions.

Remember if your going to MTH you need a parking pass otherwise you will have to pay $7 to get in (per vehicle).

I have the pass and can email it to anyone who needs it, email me at kanowarrior@yahoo.com. I will be leaving early in the morning so there isn't much time to email me. I should have one or two extra passes at the show. If you call my cell I could come out and give you one. I will be at the public battles so cannot guarantee I can always answer though.

This video is primarily the 82nd Airborne LH unit, although there is some hand-to-hand combat with Kurt
