As you all know, Tim has access to a Jeep and we need some extra hands to do some dirty work. If interested please post here.

I am the farthest thing in the world from a mechanic, but I will help if needed.

What sort of "hands" do you need? What skills or do you just need a work party and guys who can get their fingers dirty

I think hands with four fingers and a thumb might work well. More or less than that might be a problem. And be sure not to leave any behind! [smilie=a_happyhappy.gif]

I can look at a jeep and tell you whats right and wrong but get me under the hood and you have a real problem on your hands. I can find battle sites better than I can work on mechanics! And those who went this last weekend know how good I am at finding places!

Mayo can pass the wrenches and Guiness and Dave can document the items that have been repaired and consumed. lol.
It's not that hard and we don't need super mechanics, just someone that can do some cleaning and minor assembly while the rest of us can get under the Jeep to perform the yukkie stuff.

Right now my friend that actually owns the first jeep is out of town till the beginning of May so that one is not yet available. We have not yet had a chance to examine Tom Jones's jeep. Hopefully we will be doing that in a couple weeks.

My own jeep is still a dream but the funding is already here. Just waiting for the right jeep to come along.

Fernie:

Steve Lee said that he can do his own brakes and other vehicle repair, so give him a PM or an email about it too.

I took an autotech class a few years ago and I have worked on my own car, nothing big just basics stuff. Now a modern civilian import is not quite the same as an old domestic war vehicle but if i can help i would be glad to though.

Steve,
We can certainly use your talents as soon as we get a date which will be next month. Thanks for volunteering and we will update as soon as Russ returns from his work venture.
