WTT: Leggings

Postby Spiggy on Sun Jan 06, 2008 3:22 am

Uh, I happened to pick up a size 3, however my beefy ham-legs are like 4 or 5.

So I'm looking to trade up to a size 4 or even 5 (whatever's at 18in)

These are originals dated 6/4/42. Looking for the equivalent in roughly same condition.

Size 4R are hard to find. Most people wear a 2R or 3R. The only place I have even found anything over a 3R is "What Price Glory."

No problems. Bring them to the event and we will show you how to do it. 8)

sorry, at the moment I'm only looking to trade up to a better alternative since I can still rig this set with extra canvas and longer laces.

Doesnt look too bad, but that's flannel pants, under jeans I need to rig it

-New Pics in process, I just had the carpet cleaned so we're waiting until it's dry and I can regain control of my office

If they fit like that over wool pants, they should be fine. You do need to put dubbin on your boots though. 8)

Yes, I would not alter those. As you wear them they will stretch. My leggings actually stretched another size larger after I bought them and wore them after about three or four reenactments. They are to large now and I need to find a smaller pair.
