M1903/1917 Enfield

Anyone know the current price for either of these? There's a guy here local that is selling the M1903 for $1600 and the M1917 Enfield for $1300. I don't have the $$ for either but wanted to know if this is over priced.

Quite a bit overpriced, last P17 I saw was $850 at a gunshop in San Dimas and the last 1903 I saw at a good price (note that this was a 1903 variant not the 1903A3) was $800 at the gunshow.

I just bought an M1917 and I think I paid $600 or so. Nice one too. It's got to be gold plated with a platinum bore to be worth over $1,000.

Springfields can command high prices like that but you can still buy a really nice one for way under $1,000.

I've seen OK and decent 1917s come out of Century and Turner's for $400-600
