I just got one of these. Still waiting for blanks though.

The guy selling them was quite nice. I had a problem and had to give him a call. California makes it hard to order stuff but I got it worked out. He said he is selling out of them quickly and sent me the pistol and two magazines now instead of waiting for the ammo to arrive so he wouldn't sell out of the pistols before the rest of my order showed up.

kano,

What type of problem did you have? I'm looking for a piece like this.

Nothing unusual. California has very restrictive laws so before they would take my order they needed a letter from me stating my purpose of use.

I've had worse ordering these guns out of state. Once a company had me send them a letter from my club proving I was a member of a reenactment group. The problem is the 'implied' purpose of the laws. Companies are trying their best to interpete the laws and comply but not everyone reads them the same. This is why so many companies decide to give up and just not sell to California. It's not worth the liability issues.

Actually you should call the guy selling them. He was quite helpful and unlike a lot of vendors I have spoken to he was very personable over the phone.

I enjoyed doing business with him and will do so in the future. He was very concerned I get my order and it be the right order.

Until he sends me blanks I have no way of knowing. I've owned a Kimar and a Bruni and they both sucked. Heard good things about this one so I can't wait to get it out in the field to try it out. Problem is the blanks were on back order. These are 9mm blanks, not the usual 8mm Fioccho blanks.

Sportsman's Guide now has these for $200 but according to the website won't ship to California. I got one of their catalogs last night and it was in it. According to the catalog codes they had no restrictions on shipping to CA but on the website they do. I would say they won't as they are anal retentive when it comes to California.
