World War Two History Magazine, and The Military Bookclub

Postby BTHodgson on Mon Oct 15, 2007 12:14 pm

I subscribe to both of these highly infomative sources. World War Two History has a monthly subscription. They always have amazing articles on not only major battles, and engagements, but also little known things. They have sections on world war two gaming, ordanance, which is about the many different interesting weapons used in World War Two, and even a section on top secret military oganizations, weapons, and operations. I also find many different sources for Reenactment gear, both original and reproduction. The Military Bookclub offers you the introductory ability to buy four books off a list for 25cents each, plus shipping and handling (about 5 dollars); then after that, once a month they send you a list of books to choose from. You can opt to choose from them or not. (the 25cents each is only an introductory offer)To be part of the bookclub you have to buy 4 books a year. You always are able to find books not in the bookstores. Also hard to find books are not so ard to find here. I far surpass the four book a year minimum. These are some of my main sources for research. I encourage everybody who reads this to look into both. If you are already subscribing to either one, or both, YOU'RE AWESOME!

Ive been a longtime subscriber to Military History (same family as WWII History), my favorite magazine, ever. My interests go from cavemen hitting each other with rocks to F-18's over the Hindu Kush so I like a bit broader of a periodical. Excelent magazines though, so I second your recommendation.

ROFL.

Anyways I believe MHQ and WW2 history are both published by Weider Entertainment group. The same guy who publishes Armchair General, my magazine of choice.
