Taisho is coming. Brett he is going to try to call you right now. He wants to meet with you at the church.

Cancel that! Taisho can't wake up at 3am. He won't be coming.

It was fun. Things went well and we were able to scrape up enough stuff I think to help make their film pretty interesting. There was lots of acting and one very real injury that might actually be included in the film.

I'm pretty tired right now and about to go to bed since I've been up since 3am today and I'm about out of steam. Hopefully someone else will chime in on it later. I have another full day of stuff I hope to get done tomorrow.

Cool Tim... I'm upset. I should have went... turns out staying back to get together with my friend wasn't worth it. We're through. She showed her cards and called me names, and pulled some other cards I wasn't expecting someone like her to pull so its done. I'm sure Bob and Mike will hear about it when they call me... But I'm relieved and I can go find another girl thats at least honest.

I had a very interesring day that started with getting my finger caught in Tim's van door. OUCH! Then we went to the scene where Mayo and I were fighting for my 1911 and my head was accidentally struck by Mayo's helmet. OUCH!
Most of the extra gear that we brought was well used and well stained with fake and real blood. I am currently soaking my HBT's in dish soap and warm water via directions from the Wife. Hopefully that fake blood will wash out.
Sorry Dave, we did not bring a camera so Brett may be posting some pic's soon.
Thanks Tim for picking me up and hauling all our gear to Ozena and back.
And thanks to Mayo for volunteering at the last minute. Your knowledge of tactics was well appreciated.

We had fun. The most fun part was that Brett needed us, and we came thorugh. Some of the folks who promised to help him fell through. I was not planning to come because I had other things to do. When we heard that Brett was in a bind, we came through and helped him at least complete his project and put a usable film together by providing our help, grear, and a few actors. We were happy to help you Brett, you're our pard.

BTW, all the uniforms I had that got soaked with the fake blood cleaned up in a simple wash without any trouble. Take care to AIR dry and not use a dryer to reduce risk of shrinkage.

I called around to a couple of my german reenactor friends and got excellent advice to use a product called Soilove on the real dried blood. I was told you can buy it at any supermarket, it comes in a green bottle. Soak the stain with it for a couple minutes and wash. My shirt came out looking like new again! I thought it was a gonner for sure as there was blood all over it. Might still have to replace it if it shrinks but I think it will be fine now.

I found my bottle of Soilove at Albertsons.
